About the role

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electronic products in a manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with quality, manufacturing, production, and engineering teams to identify product issues, improve test processes, and help ensure reliable, high-quality products reach customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electronics, root cause analysis, and improving manufacturing quality.

What you’ll do

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and finished products
  • Diagnose PCB-level faults and identify root causes of product failures
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of production test equipment
  • Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, and test procedures
  • Recommend improvements to manufacturing and test processes based on failure analysis
  • Perform component-level rework, soldering, desoldering, assembly, and repair of mixed-technology circuit boards
  • Support production teams in resolving manufacturing and quality issues
  • Maintain accurate repair records and technical documentation
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with established quality standards and manufacturing procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product reliability and manufacturability

What we look for

  • 5+ years of experience supporting electronics manufacturing, testing, or quality assurance
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies
  • Strong working knowledge of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, and related laboratory instruments
  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Experience performing component-level soldering and rework on through-hole and surface-mount assemblies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
