About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Engineering Technician / Hardware Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic instrumentation. This role combines hands-on hardware design, product validation, documentation, and production support, helping move products from concept through manufacturing.
The ideal candidate enjoys working across the full product lifecycle and is comfortable balancing design work, laboratory testing, and manufacturing collaboration.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain electronic hardware for embedded products
- Create schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation
- Develop and execute hardware verification and acceptance testing
- Write clear test procedures and validation documentation
- Troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuits
- Support product qualification and transition into manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain accurate design documentation and engineering change records
- Assist with continuous improvements to product quality and manufacturing processes
- Contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, from prototype through production
What we look for
- Experience designing and supporting electronic hardware
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
- Experience with electronic schematic capture tools (OrCAD or equivalent)
- Ability to create and maintain Bills of Materials and engineering documentation
- Experience developing acceptance tests and writing technical test procedures
- Hands-on laboratory troubleshooting and debugging experience
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Familiarity with embedded firmware or microcontroller-based systems is a plus
- Experience with PIC microcontrollers or similar embedded platforms is beneficial
- Junior and senior-level candidates will be considered
- U.S. citizenship is required
