You’ll develop verification strategies, build test environments, investigate failures, and work closely with hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver robust, production-ready systems.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys understanding how products fail, identifying root causes, and improving designs before they reach customers.

What you’ll do

  • Develop verification plans from product requirements and technical specifications
  • Create and maintain test procedures, fixtures, and laboratory test environments
  • Execute functional, regression, stress, environmental, and edge-case testing
  • Analyze failures, perform root cause investigations, and document findings
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to troubleshoot design issues
  • Track defects through resolution and verify corrective actions
  • Validate hardware, firmware, and system-level integration
  • Design and assemble custom test equipment and validation setups
  • Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for quality and testability
  • Ensure testing complies with internal quality processes and applicable industry standards

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Two or more years of experience in electronics testing, validation, or verification
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals
  • Experience creating and executing structured verification or validation plans
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, component datasheets, and engineering documentation
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, or Modbus
  • Experience with embedded safety standards is a plus
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, or similar tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • A proactive mindset with a strong attention to quality and detail
